The Delta Optical BioLight 300 microscope is the successor to the BioLight 200. With a completely redesigned stand, it has become even more ergonomic and easier to use. The optical system has also been improved, so the image is sharper and has more contrast. This is especially important when using microscope cameras.

Thanks to three achromatic objectives, it offers magnifications in the range of 40-400x, and up to 640x with the optional P16x eyepiece. It has two illumination modes, allowing observation in transmitted and reflected light. Thanks to the filter wheel under the stage, you can also observe in light of different colours. This makes it easier to see details in specimens prepared with different staining methods.

The Biolight 300 biological microscope is:

  • a microscope with glass optics and a magnification range of 40x-400x (up to 640x with the optional P16x eyepiece)
  • a solid metal stand that is easy to carry
  • a mechanical stage allowing precise movement of the specimen, with a printed scale – this makes work with the specimen much easier for a young user compared to microscopes with clips that only hold the specimen
  • coaxial fine and coarse focus knobs
  • LED illumination: upper (reflected) and lower (transmitted)
  • a filter wheel for observing different specimens
  • built-in battery power (lets you use the microscope without mains power)
  • its own set of tools and slides for preparing specimens

Unlike many simple educational microscopes from competitors, the BioLight 300 stands out with coaxial fine and coarse focus knobs, and a specimen movement mechanism (with a marked scale). This allows very precise positioning and makes work easier for a young microscope user.

An additional advantage of the BioLight 300 is the built-in battery power module, so you can use it away from power sources, e.g. in the field. Observing specimens found on a trip to the forest, a lake or a meadow has never been so easy. What is more, using the microscope during lessons now lets you avoid a troublesome tangle of cables.
