What is a liquid culture syringe?

A liquid culture syringe contains a sterile nutrient medium into which live mycelium has been inoculated. This solution makes fast and effective colonisation of sterile substrates possible. Liquid cultures contain an active, vegetative form of mycelium, which translates into:

• faster growth,

• higher colonisation success,

• stability and repeatability in educational and microscopic research.
