Jack Frost × Shakti is an advanced hybrid Psilocybe Cubensis genetic line that combines the features of two exceptional lines: Jack Frost and Shakti.
Jack Frost is known for its intensely white, almost “frozen” fruiting bodies, which gives this hybrid its characteristic, very attractive appearance. The Jack Frost × Shakti growkit is one of the more demanding and sought-after research kits among experienced mycology enthusiasts.
Characteristics of the Jack Frost × Shakti genetics
- Appearance: Snow-white caps and stems that give the fruiting bodies an exceptional, “icy” character. Medium-sized caps (usually 3-7 cm), slightly convex or flat. Over time, delicate, shiny structures resembling frost may appear on the surface. Thick, solid, white stem, possibly with subtle blue bruising where damaged.
- Origin: An artificially created hybrid of two well-known lines. Jack Frost comes from albinoid selections related to Golden Teacher, while Shakti represents a separate, distinctive line of Psilocybe Cubensis. Combining these genetics produced a stable hybrid with a clearly albinoid appearance.
- Profile: Advanced genetics of high collector and research value, particularly interesting for the purity of its white colouring and its unique morphology.
